NIFFF EXTENDED – CONFERENCES
Every year, our entirely free conferences program NIFFF EXTENDED (with support from SRG SSR) offers masterclasses and roundtables on the festival’s themes and from our guests. It is also designed as a forum for exploring new technologies in the fantasy genre (IMAGING THE FUTURE) and as an opportunity to meet some of the most important contemporary authors (NEW WORLDS OF FANTASY).

THE RICH GAZE IN GENRE CINEMA
This roundtable discussion is dedicated to how the political allegories of genre cinema work as a mirror for class struggle. This discussion, moderated by journalist Judith Beauvallet, aka Demoiselle d’horreur, and involving researcher Sophie Serrano among others, complements our Eat The Rich retrospective.
