WHAT’S NEW AT THE FESTIVAL OFFF

The food trucks at Jardin anglais are now open from noon to provide you with sustenance all day long!

You can choose between Lebanese, Indian, Chilean, Thai, and Greek food, and also raw meat dishes, burgers, poké bowls, hot dogs, crêpes, and waffles. And of course, make sure you try GALAXIA 2000, the special NIFFF 2024 food truck and its pinsas from Villa Castellane.

OVNIFFF on the menu!

An Unidentified Wine Object (OVNIFFF in good French) now features on bar menus, which are made up of 75% local products. The NIFFF is delighted to be offering its own cuvée (various local white cépages) in collaboration with  DADA Vins and the Domaine de Montmollin (winner of the 2017 Label Bio Suisse). You can also purchase the OVNIFFF at the store in Théâtre du Passage.

Are you a party animal? The NIFFF and DowntownK are joining forces to let you dance the night away!

On Friday 5th and Saturday 6th, as well and from Thursday 11th to Saturday 13th, you are welcome to enjoy DTK’s eclectic DJ sets from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. And entrance is just CHF 10!

MERCHANDISING

In addition to our great merchandising, this year the NIFFF is also selling a chili oil – Pizza Booster – that will go perfectly with your GALAXIA 2000.

As far as sustainability is concerned, in addition to our renewed collaboration with the Alfaset Foundation to offer upcycled tote bags, the NIFFF is now selling reusable notebooks: each page can be erased at least 300 times, saving over 6,000 pages of paper.

Visit the store at Théâtre du Passage and start to wear the NIFFF’s colors!

DURABILITÉ

This year, sustainability plays a major role both in our program and through tangible public measures. This initiative is supported by the BCN  (Banque Cantonale Neuchâteloise) and Viteos, the Neuchâtel leader in energy transition. More partners join the project each year (see the list on NIFFF.CH).

NIFFF x VITEOS

  • ECOCONSCIOUSNESS IN CINEMA : the NIFFF and Viteos offer films, conferences, and one immersive installation centered around environmentalism.
  • JUST FOR SMILES : the NIFFF and Viteos are joining forces to give the beneficiaries of the JUST FOR SMILES foundation a fantastic cinematic experience. This nonprofit organization endeavors to let children, teens, adults, and seniors with multiple disabilities or reduced mobility experience moments of freedom and emotion.

ACCESSIBILITY

  • On the NIFFF.CH homepage, you will find an ACCESSIBILITY button. It gathers all useful information for disabled people who would like to plan their festival visit ahead. The page layout can also be changed directly by the user.
  • In collaboration with Regards Neufs, one film from the program is made available in French to people with vision and hearing impairment. L’EMPIRE can thus be enjoyed with subtitles or audio description through the Greta smartphone app.

PREVENTION BOOTH
On Saturday, July 6th, you can find a booth for the STOP SUICIDE association in the OFFF area at the Jardin anglais. Their presence aims at raising awareness about suicide and giving young people and their loved ones tools to better navigate the topic.
