To go with the NIFFF 2022, the Maison d’Ailleurs has organised the Queer-SF exhibition. Zardoz, The Female Man, Liquid Sky, or even Son of Kal-El: discover how strangeness and eccentricity have enriched sci-fi aesthetics, often using an offbeat approach to make us think about our regrettably standardised society. From interspecies relationships to LGBTQI+ movements and activism, science fiction remains a powerful metaphorical tool to critique our customs.
