The Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) will soon unveil the colors of its 24th edition, set to spread across the City of Neuchâtel from July 4-12th, 2025. In the meantime, the festival is still touring with NIFFF ON TOUR, a series of fantastic collaborations and events.
LA JULIENNE AT THE OUTER LIMITS
From March on and for the fourth year in a row, the NIFFF will be back at La julienne, Maison des arts et de la culture in Plan-les-Ouates (GE), with free monthly screenings: LES MERCREDIS DU FANTASTIQUE (FANTASTIC WEDNESDAYS).

ANIMALE

In France’s Camargue region, 22-year-old Nejma hopes to win the next bullfighting contest, called “la course camarguaise”. But the locals are troubled by strange deaths attributed to a wild beast. Selected as part of the NIFFF 2024 International Competition, ANIMALE is the sophomore feature of French Algerian filmmaker Emma Benestan.

NEW EXHIBITION AT LA MAISON D’AILLEURS
Horizons, from Feb. 15th to Apr. 16th, 2025
Opening on Saturday, February 15th from 5:30 p.m.
Under the artistic direction of Frédéric Jaccaud, the oneiric, thought-provoking Horizons exhibition is an invitation to explore elusive landscapes. From kitsch illustrations of 70s prog rock to 1930s-1950s visions of the future of urbanism, to engravings of the tales of Jules Verne and hyper realistic digital images, Horizons brings to light a history of desirable, fragile imagined places.
STAY TUNED! On Friday, April 11th, the NIFFF will attend a one-of-a-kind film event at the Espace Jules Vernes at la Maison d’Ailleurs.
