Kater is much appreciated by his boss a doctor, for his work as an organ extractor. Unfortunately, at the ratraces he is less lucky and keeps losing. In order to pay off his debts he would have to accept extracting human brains, the most coveted organ. Ratrace is certainly a tough movie bound to get to your guts (hmm..). It is also an expressionist work which predicts a rather bleak future for the Austrian capital.
