Tuvalu is by any means an uncoventional film. It was shot in black and white, then hand-colored, at first silent, but digitally sound.encoded and it's a real wonder every step of the way. The outstanding cast has some to do with it, as we get to see Denis Lavant (Les Amants du Pont-Neuf, Mauvais Sang), EJ Callahan (City of Angels, Wild Wild West) and the astounding Chulpan Hamatova.
