"Dead Creatures" is in the style of the horror movie revival in the UK and focuses on the adventures of a group of young people living in a working-class district. After having been suddenly attacked by strangers, they turn into zombies. A new life begins for them at the rate of their insatiable appetite for human flesh. At the root of the movie stands a fairly simple idea, that is, to transopose the old zombie myth to a deliberately realistic setting. And despite Parkinson's radical choices, it turned out to be a splendid idea. If the audience first indulges in ironic idnifference when witnessing the faltering walk, the growing, and the blue complexion of the living-dead protagonists, they will quickly experience total terror before being deeply moved by the ending.
