Training as usual in the Scottish Highlands, a troop of soldiers at her Majesty's command discover that the region has been infected with monstruous dogs and other day-blind creatures. Was it the hound of the Baskervilles? Werewolves maybe? It might be, but Neil Marshall, the resourceful director of Dog Soldiers, surely didn't want to direct a remake of "The Howling" Indeed, he worked with SFX genius, Bob Keen, to get the best results in editing and sound design. The master in special effects, who worked on Hellraiser and Return of the Jedi, has managed to create amazing werewolves, surprising the audience with their agility, their ferocity, and their hyper-realistic appearance. The soldiers will definitely have a hard time fighting these, and, whether they make it or not, the audience will have the opportunity to watch the wildset and most innovative thriller and horror movie since Predator and Evil Dead. Undoubtedly, things are changing - quickly - in Jell-O-Land.
