Nathan, a 17 year old student, leads a peaceful life in a small Irish town. This dull existence is relieved by the fact that Nathan is madly in love with Jessica, and she with him. One evening, Nathan sees her hanging out with the local “Mr. Handsome” and wrongly assumes that she is having an affair with him. Out of despair he hangs himself, only to wake up the next morning feeling hungry as hell. When he comes across Samson, a real bully, Nathan doesn’t hesitate a moment and bites a chunk out of his juicy skull. Sent to the grave, Samson also comes back alive. The more you eat the more you crave, especially when you are Irish and have a strong stomach. In lost (im-)memory of Leos Carax, “Boy Eats Girl” is a zombie comedy as thirstquenching as a good pint of Guinness.
