Movie programmer in a neighborhood theater, Kirby Sweetman has a specialty he knows where to get a hold of copies of rare films. An eccentric collector appeals to him to find a copy of The Absolute End of the World, this ultimate horror movie was shown only once at the festival of Sitges. Possessed by homicidal craze, the audience that was present transformed the stage into a blood bath. Kirby sets out to hunt for clues that will enable him to get his hands on this reel with a sulfurous reputation.
