The well-known loser Cheung is sent by his boss to a remote village, a godforsaken place, in order to obtain construction rights for their company. Upon his arrival, Cheung is immediately bullied by Master Pong’s hooligans before being miraculously saved by the crafty old Tiger. Tiger takes Cheung to his friend, Dragon, and to the dwelling of their former master who has been asleep in a coma for 30 years. But when Pong and his gang try to raze their dojo, their master suddenly awakes, and war is declared! With a cast of renowned actors as well as rising stars, Gallants gets its inspiration from the wave of classic martial arts films, while at the same time bringing a fresh new look to the genre. A delirious kung-fu comedy that will tone your stomach muscles with laughter.
