After a night of desperate lovemaking with a stranger, a young lesbian woman named Samantha starts displaying mysterious symptoms. Convinced she’s contracted a sexually transmitted disease, she goes to see a doctor and unfortunately, the diagnosis is much even worse... While her life, health and habits crumble around her, Samantha must endure some terrifying experiences. What sinister evil may be eating away at her from within ? With extreme pertinence, Eric England uses the virus theme to treat multiple current subjects. Horror, at first mild and metaphorical, spreads terrifyingly in this portrait of Los Angeles’ lesbian community, before deploying its full force and getting under your skin. Young Najarra Townsend literally carries the whole film on her shoulders ; both endearing and terrifying, she is highly impressive in the desperate and passionate role of Samantha.
