Shot in 16 mm and natural light, Alleluia is in the vein of feverish Calvaire (NIFFF 2005), Fabrice Du Welz’s first feature. The Belgian director brilliantly depicts a romance which ignores morals and flourishes somewhere between horror and monstrosity.
