France, 1980s. 13-year-old Alpha returns home with a tattoo on her arm. Her mother is upset: a strange virus is going around, turning people into marble statues. As tensions rise, her sick, drug addicted uncle Amin shows up unexpected. A fevered tale about adolescence, fear, and silent mutations.
