People are vanishing in the spa town of Atsumi. When mutilated bodies are found, local police suspect sharks might be the culprits. Their investigation soon turns into all-out insanity. Director Morihito Inoue might not have had a lot of money, but what he did have was smartly used B-movie tropes, a hilarious sense of humor, unbound visual generosity, and out-of-this world comedic timing that birthed a film whose radicality transcends its genre.
