Julia and Georg desperately want a child together. One day, the mysterious Dr. Vilfort makes their wishes come true thanks to a revolutionary method. However, once born, the baby is immediately taken away for a while. When it is given back to her, Julia feels strangely distant from the child. So much so that she starts to wonder whether it really is hers… A paranoia-infused thriller that brilliantly explores the theme of postpartum depression.
