Lonely high schooler Miyuki meets Yasuhiko, a boy from 300 years in the future who was inspired by a novel she has yet to write. Their love blossoms, but time eventually pulls them apart. Ten years later, Miyuki, now a novelist, comes back to the place where they had met. But something has changed in the time loop. Dizzyingly existential, Rewrite is a tender sci-fi romance filled with humor and nostalgia.
