As preparations for the 22nd edition (30 June – 8 July 2023) are in full steam, the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) is also hard at work to meet you in various movie theatres, and even in a museum.
CIN&BLABLA – PARODY MOVIE
Friday, March 31st, from 6:30 p.m., Maison d’Ailleurs (Yverdon-les-Bains)
The NIFFF is joining forces with Maison d’Ailleurs for an unusual night on Friday, March 31st, with the screening of a fantastic/parodic film, as well as gin tasting, and a surprise activity organised by Plonk et Replonk.

‘SHOW YOUR SUPPORT’ EVENING
Friday, May 5th, Château de Cormondrèche
The AANIFFF (Association des Ami·es du NIFFF) is organising an evening meant to rally up support for the festival on Friday, May 5th, at the idyllic Château de Cormondrèche. The programme will be revealed soon, but we can tell you it is going to be an evening full of surprises, both culinary and cinematic. Stay tuned!
TIME MACHINE
Saturday, May 6th, from 8 p.m., Arcades – Cinepel (Neuchâtel)
The concept behind Time Machine is simple: Young people bring other young people to the cinema to (re)discover a cult movie. But there’s more! Screenings come with all sorts of playful activities, second-hand clothes merchants, and food trucks. The NIFFF is happy to be showing a film in Neuchâtel, on Saturday, May 6th.
LES MERCREDIS DU FANTASTIQUE
Wednesday, March 15th, 8 p.m., La julienne (Plan-les-Ouates)
This series of 4 screenings designed in collaboration with the municipality of Plan-les-Ouates carries on at La julienne. On Wednesday, March 15th, you can discover NOS CÉRÉMONIES from Simon Rieth, winner of the NIFFF 2022 H.R. Giger “Narcisse” award. Free entry; speaker in attendance.
DIABOLIK AT PALACINEMA (TI)
Thursday, April 6th, 8:30 p.m., PalaCinema (Locarno)
As part of the 10 Film Festival @ PalaCinema series, the NIFFF will show DIABOLIK from brothers Antonio and Marco Manetti, which was shown in the THIRD KIND category in 2022. The screening includes a discussion with Pierre-Yves Walder, the NIFFF General and Artistic Director.
