Before its 22nd edition that will take place from June 30th to July 8th, 2023, the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) continues touring Switzerland with NIFFF ON TOUR! Among the first 2023 screenings, in collaboration with the town of Plan-les-Ouates in Geneva and PalaCinema in Tessin, is Simon Rieth’s first film, NOS CÉRÉMONIES, winner of the best feature film award at NIFFF 2022. The screening is free of charge.
FANTASTIC WEDNESDAYS AT LA JULIENNE (GE)
In collaboration with the town of Plan-les-Ouates
For the second year in a row, four Wednesdays will be synonymous with fantasy at La julienne, the Maison des arts et de la culture of Plan-les-Ouates. What’s on the menu? Short film gems, the winner of the best feature film award from last year’s NIFFF, a Japanese time loop, and a poetic, spectacular post-apocalyptic film.
Entrance is free of charge, no booking required. Each screening takes place in the presence of a guest.

This film won the H.R. Giger Narcisse award at NIFFF 2022, which comes with CHF 10,000 offered by the City of Neuchâtel.

DIABOLIK AT THE PALACINEMA (TI)
This is the first initiative from the new board of directors of the PalaCinema SA in Locarno: the 10 Film Festival @ PalaCinema cycle. Ten internationally renowned Swiss film festival directors present one striking film from their festival’s history to Italian-speaking Switzerland.
On Thursday, April 6th, the NIFFF will present DIABOLIK, the film from brothers Antonio and Marco Manetti, initially selected as part of the THIRD KIND category at NIFFF 2022. Before the screening, NIFFF General and Artistic Director Pierre-Yves Walder will talk about the film.
