Saturday, November 26th – From 7 p.m.

The NIFFF’s SCREAM QUEER retrospective, dedicated to the representation of LGBTIQ+ identities in genre cinema, is going into extra time. The MIDNIGHT MOVIES co-programmed with the Centre de culture ABC (La Chaux-de-Fonds) will consist of three slashers that subvert the clichés of heteronormative decorum. While behaviour and sensibilities have evolved, two of the chosen films do away with scruples and sacrifice political correctness on the altar of final twists and shock effects.

Full programme:

  • SISSY, by Hannah Barlow (Australie, 2022, 1h47)
  • SLEEPAWAY CAMP, by Robert Hiltzik (USA, 1983, 1h24)
  • LE FILS DE CHUCKY, by Don Mancini (USA, 2004, 1h27)

Tickets are available at the ABC’s ticketing desk from November 9th.
